CORCORAN IRRIGATION DISTRICT

About Us

The Corcoran Irrigation District is a political subdivision of the State of California that operates independently under the California Water Code. Our goal is to obtain and deliver surface water for irrigation of farms in the District as well as to recharge the groundwater basin beneath the District. Our district is continuously working to improve its efficiency and contain costs for its customers. We know that our growers rely upon the District for their farms and ranches irrigation which serves roughly 48,500 acres including storage reservoirs, conveyance system and agriculture land.

To ensure a dependable and cost-effective water supply to our district customers in a way that encourages conservation and fits into the larger mission of watershed health and natural resource stewardship.
